"The inhabitants of the moon are more of a uniform size than the inhabitants of the earth, being about 6 feet in height. They dress very much like the Quaker style and are quite general in style or the one fashion of dress. They live to be very old; coming generally, near a thousand years. This is the description of them as given by Joseph the Seer, and he could 'See' whatever he asked the Father in the name of Jesus to see."
The History of Oliver B. Huntington, p. 10
So, according to Joseph Smith, as cited by Oliver Huntington (a Mormon), people lived on the moon and dress like Quakers. And this he saw because he asked the “Father”?
Since it has long been proved that no one lives on the moon, this is just another example to demonstrate that Joseph Smith was not a prophet of God.

Besides the fact that the idea that he could see whatever he wanted to see is totally contrary to the clear teaching of Scripture that prophecy comes not by the will of man (II Peter 1:20-21).
